

SKIING PREPARATION PACKAGE
The most common injuries skiers get are fractures of the lower leg bones (tibia and fibula) due to twisting forces generated by a fall. Injuries to the knee accounts for approximately 30-40% of all alpine ski injuries. Another common injury is ACL damage. Whereby the back of the ski boot is forced against the calf ie. a jump went wrong or someone runs into you.
My 12 week plan concentrates on targeting the muscle groups used the most when skiing. As with all my programs I believe all strength is built from the core. If the foundation is solid the rest will follow.
