When I first agreed to allow Peter to train me, I didn't know what to expect. I was weighing in around 14 stone, lacked a good standard of fitness and had a poor diet which mainly consisted of convienent and fast food. I had one incentive - I used to train at a local boxing gym and missed the buzz of being down there. In my condition, with my pride, I knew I wouldn't last 2 rounds down there so that was a major motivation to stick with whatever Peter would challenge me with.
As expected Peter started me off gently but even admitted that he was surprised that I was fitter than I looked. This gave me a boost in confidence and additional motivation and realisation that I could achieve my targets and goals.
As the weeks went on the programme got tougher and tougher but at the same time was varied and always interesting. Not once did I think 'god, I wish I didn't have to train today' Exercise became enjoyable rather than a chore.
Peter also kept an active interest in what I was doing away from his sessions. He advised me on diet and exercise to do when at home. All of this helped to improve my results too. My diet dramatically changed and with it, so did I. I had more energy and felt better within myself and found myself able to train for longer and harder.
By the time we came to the end of the 12 weeks, I felt like a different person. I had an improved diet, had lost around 5 inches off my waist and over a stone in weight. I was a lot fitter too. What more, I feel far more confident in myself now. As a single man, before I was always a bit conscious to approach a woman in a bar, club or public situation but now, I have a lot more belief in myself.
I would recommend using Peter to anyone, be it someone looking to lose weight or just someone hoping to stay or improve their fitness. He has wide knowledge in all aspects of health and fitness and his sessions are never the same.
